Warranty Policy and Procedures

To Distributors:

Mallentech Group stands behind the quality and reliability of our NOx sensors. All products are covered by a one (1) year, unlimited mileage warranty from the date of purchase or installation.

1. Simple & Fast Warranty Process

Our goal is to make warranty handling quick and hassle-free:

• Required information:
• Purchase or installation date
• Description of the reason for return, including diagnostic messages and, preferably, engine fault codes
• No RMA or additional forms are required
• Once the claim is validated, please forward the details to info@mallentechgroup.com
• Upon receipt, Mallentech will promptly issue a credit to your A/P account

2. Additional Support

As part of our quality control process, we analyze all returned sensors. If available, we greatly appreciate your assistance in providing:

• Truck and engine model and/or VIN
• Mileage at the time of the issue
• Technician’s notes, including diagnostic messages, engine fault codes, and other error messages

3. Scope of Warranty

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.  NOx sensors operate within a complex exhaust and aftertreatment system, and their performance can be influenced by external factors. Therefore, this warranty does not cover issues primarily caused by:

• Improper installation or handling
• Upstream or downstream component issues (e.g., SCR system, wiring, ECU)
• Vehicle system conditions or operating environments unrelated to the sensor
• Contamination (soot, oil, coolant, fuel deposits, etc.) resulting from other engine component failures (e.g., DPF)

Mallentech reserves the right to review claims that show unusual patterns or high return rates and may request additional information when necessary.

Limited Warranty Policy

APPLICABLE TO THE UNITED STATES, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS, PUERTO RICO, CAYMANISLANDS AND CANADA. SUPERSEDES ANY OTHER WARRANTY STATEMENT

Mallentech Group warrants that its Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) sensor is free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the period of twelve (12) months, unlimited miles, from the date the sensor was delivered to the original purchaser.  This warranty is limited to the original purchaser, i.e. is not transferable to subsequent owners of the product.

Mallentech Group warrants that it will repair or replace, free of charge, any defective products.  This warranty, however, does not cover any labor costs incurred in diagnosis of defects, removal or reinstallation of a product, nor does it cover any other consequential expenses.

To obtain performance of this warranty, purchasers should contact the outlet where they originally purchased the product. A dated purchase receipt, repair order or other written proof that the product is within the warranty period will be required in order to honor the claim.

This warranty becomes null and void if the damage is caused by: (i) misuse, abuse or accident; (ii) alteration of the product; (iii) improper installation, including, but not limited to, use of improper tools; (iv) exposure to harsh weather, road debris and other road hazards, and/or chemicals; or (v) lack of proper maintenance. This warranty also becomes null and void if the product is opened or any sticker is tampered with, broken, or missing, or if the damage is caused by any other condition that is beyond the control of Mallentech Group.

Mallentech Group shall not be liable for any direct, special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages including loss of profit or loss of opportunity that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) sensor.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ALSO TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY SETS OUT YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS COVERED BY IT. NO ATTEMPT TO ALTER, MODIFY, OR AMEND THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE EFFECTIVE UNLESS AUTHORIZED IN WRITING BY AN OFFICER OF MALLENTECH.

Notices

Federal and/or state laws may provide you with other warranties for this product. Some states may not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages.
